 Colleague Training Manuals Available Soon
Training has included the academic department secretaries and department chairs, counselors, and faculty, who have had breakout sessions on how to access class rosters, class schedules, and enter grades on WebAdvisor. The new faculty load sheets have gotten rave reviews:
“I love it,” says Paula Halloran, science and math department secretary. “They print easily, the student waitlist is easy to access, and the class list is all on one page.”
Kathy Krentz and Diane Krasnewich are coordinating with various FIT teams in getting the Colleague training manuals organized. “There are over 1000 Colleague screens,” says Kathy, “and so far we have instructions written for over 100 of the most popular.”

FACTS Payment Plan Popular
According to Rosemary Zink, over 1100 MCC students have chosen to use the new payment plan, which allows them to spread their tuition payments over the semester. “This has been a very positive program,” says Rosemary. “It has allowed MCC to attract and retain more students for Fall semester.”
Student Financial Aid Increases
MCC students have earned over $2.2 million in financial aid this year – which is well over $500,000 more than last year! Contributing highly to that figure, according to Bruce Wierda, are bookstore loans, newly available to students.
