Approval of Additional Placement Test codes: MATH 035 Modules, ACT Mathematics
Although separate COMPASS tests will not be given for Math Modules A, B, C, D, E and G, scores must be brought over from Legacy; a paper and pencil test will still be administered for 035F Metrics (not included in COMPASS, needed for nursing). As noted in the catalog, an ACT Math score of 28-36 allows a student to enroll in MATH 161, so a code is needed.

Approval of Legacy Student Program Status: (STUDENT.PROGRAM.STATUSES)
When testing Legacy conversion data, it was discovered that an end date was needed to make a student’s program inactive. The code of L Legacy with a special processing code matching “Changed Mind” is recommended.

Privacy Codes – Kathy shared discussion from the CORE team and recommendations for two codes: SE Secure Everything and DR Duplicate Record. CORE team members tested this element on student records and employee SVM screens. Jean was concerned with various scenarios (i.e.: mailing label and transcript requests) regarding student information. This issue will be added to the agenda for today’s remote consulting with Doug.

Courses in LIVE Update: Judy is checking all courses. Jean, Kathy, Chris and Terri are also working with courses. A few course dept. assignments were questioned (OSED or BUSN). Other course factors to review include: long title, course level, instructional method, contact hours, pre- and co-reqs, course fees, registration restrictions, other restrictions, instructor consent, retake for credit and repeat policies, waitlist, equated courses, new course additions.
