TEAM LEAD MINUTES OF JULY 31, 2006
9:30 AM
JEAN ROBERTS OFFICE

Accounts Receivable
1. Add VLC to Student Types, which include SAM and Indian Tuition Waiver.
Tuition Rates:
$120.00 In-district
$175.00 Out of district
$230.00 Out of state
2. Currently working on Non refundable fees for Nursing and Respiratory Therapy.

Admisssion Implementation Team:
Brenda reported that Admissions will not be using the Career Goals category on APPN.
The AIT will start meeting twice a week to meet their deadlines.
They have admitted 200 names into TEST,
Problems encountered when entering names into APPN:
  • Started after program started
  • New program on APPN must be changed on SPRO.
  • Must complete Residency status.
It doesn’t appear at this time that Colleague will be able to handle the Nursing Waitling List. Looking into EXCEL/Access because of the eight year time limit, deferrals and not semester based. Won’t be able to use Communication Management because there are too many paragraphs and check list sheet with card.
Letter was sent to the 600 students on waiting list to see if they are still interested in the Nursing program and update information.
Admit Status:
  • Degree Seeking
  • High School transcript
Kim Vanderlinde will research how the Financial Aid Office will know when a HS transcript has been received.

Financial Aid Team
Bruce needs to show ability to benefit, which would be degree seeking not tied to a program,   they also require a HS transcript or GED.
Currently working on setting up rules, have rescheduled missed day of training caused by power outage.
Regular student needs High School transcript or GED and show ability to benefit.

Student Academic Management Team:
The Student Academic Team has discovered that on the RGPE screen there is an Auto APPN to create an application for Continuing Education.
Working on Dean’s and President’t list based on 12 consectative credits.
Explained the Academic Level of CE student VS UG (Undergraduate)
Application behind the scence:
SPRO: End/Start program. The SAM consultant recommended you start the new program before you end the current program because of distractions. Everyone must have an active program.
The SAM team would like only Academic Counselors to change programs with an official form.
.
The SAM team encountered problems with students entered into TEST because the Residency Code had not been entered . They are currently working to correct the situation.

Keep communication open.

Next meeting is Monday, August 7, 2006 in Jean Roberts’ office.
