Human Resources Application Team Minutes
June 14, 2006, Meeting
Present: Mary Smith (Team Lead), Beda Dubois, Lori Haggerty, Donna Warner, and Rosemary Zink.
Absent: Aaron Hilliard, Dee Crews, Joan Jolman, and Jody Kuhn
Meeting began at 10:00 a.m. in Room 1300.
1. Review of 5/31/2006 HR Team Minutes. Rosemary moved, Beda seconded, to approve minutes. All agreed. Minutes then approved as presented.
Copies of the AGENDA were distributed.
2. Meeting Change: Discussion was held regarding recommendation of Peggy Burns to begin to meet weekly for four hours; increasing time as needed as training/entering of data increases. Decision was made to continue to meet Wednesdays, and change the meeting time from 10:00 to 12:00 to 8:30 to 12:00. All agreed.
3. Next Steps: Discussion was held regarding some benefits in test that needed additional information to be valid benefits. Beda volunteered Lori to print a listing of current benefits in test (BENR) to begin to complete the necessary benefits at the next meeting.
4. Sample Group: Mary will update benefits on the worksheet for use at the next meeting.
5. Other Issues:
ACTION ITEMS FROM PRIOR MEETINGS
1. Employment Spreadsheet: A sample sheet with deductions has been created.
2. Workbook: Entries on-going.
3. Local Taxes/EIC: Both completed and added to workbook.
4. Leave Plans: Discussion was held and Team agreed that a meeting needs to be held soon with the Clerical Union President. Also discussed speaking with Peggy Burns about leave plans during our phone consultation to be scheduled.
5. Sample Payroll Reports: These reports being gathered by Payroll and HR.
6. Positions: Sample group is complete.
7. Withholding Priority: Will define via testing.
8. Work Study Positions: Process is on-going.
9. Benefit Deduction Schedule: Status - closed at previous meeting
10. 403(b)/457(b): Status – closed at previous meeting.
Meeting Adjourned at 11:00 a.m.
Next meeting is on June 21, 2006 in Room 1300.
