It came to our attention that changes needed to be made to the AREM screen, discussion ensued with the following recommendations being made.
 
AREM Screen:
Remarks:
Types: Kind of remark, such as personal information, involvement information, general comments and interviews.
Codes: Source of the remark such as family friend, alumnus, Admissions Officer or Counselor.
Codes:
AL - Alumnus
AD – Admissions Officer
CO - Counselor
FAC - Faculty
STA - Staff
STU – Student
 
Types:
AD – Admissions Office
BO – Business Office
CO - Counselor
FA – Financial Aid Office
FP – Faculty Phone Call
PI – Personal Information
SP – Staff Phone Call
SS – Student Services
TC – Testing Center
SL – Student Life
 
Comments:
Free form text on the applicant, such as Nursing information, special notes on the current SCP screen.
 
A motion was made to approve the corrections. Following discussion the motion carried.

Training Schedule:
September 15, 2006 - UI Training in Room 349.
September 22, 2006 – Application training, will supply trainees with 10 applications. Check for duplicates and five ways to look for Colleague ID number.

George will meet with IT and Tom Race to get required fields highlighted.
